Women of the Riverina is an award-winning powerful, collaborative production developed in a series of community workshops by women across Wiradjuri Country. With actors, movement and music, the show uncovers hidden narratives on a journey from ancient times, through war years, to the frantic now. Ten punchy, funny and moving original stories, set to evocative music by award-winning Australian composer Elizabeth Jigalin. If you think you know Riverina women, think again!
The script won the AWGIE Award for Best Community Theatre Script 2026.
Building on the success of sold out shows in Sydney and Wagga Wagga, Voices of Women is presenting a new regional tour in 2026, including community engagement workshops, in Albury, Tumut and Junee.
