Athenium Theatre Organisation Sponsorship Initiative

The Athenium Theatre in Junee is proud to introduce the Organisation Sponsorship Initiative—a fantastic opportunity for local organisations to engage with the community and benefit from our events.

How It Works

Organisations that register for the initiative will receive a unique ticketing promo code valid for one year. Every time someone uses this code at checkout when purchasing tickets for Athenium Theatre events, they get to nominate where their $5 contribution goes—directly supporting the registered organisation of their choice.

How to Register

To register your organisation, simply:

  1. Email us with your details.

  2. Agree to receive marketing material from Athenium Theatre.

  3. Provide a valid organisation address in Junee.

Once we receive your submission, our team will review your application. If successful, we’ll provide you with your exclusive promo code and details on how to share it with your supporters.

Next Steps

✔ Read the terms & conditions at the bottom of this page.

✔ Submit your organisation’s details today!
✔ Encourage your supporters to use the promo code and nominate your organisation at checkout.
✔ Enjoy the benefits of community-driven sponsorship!

Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the Athenium Theatre Organisation Sponsorship Initiative (the “Initiative”) facilitated by the Athenium Theatre and administered in collaboration with Junee Shire Council (collectively referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1.2. By submitting a registration application or participating in this Initiative, the registering entity (“Organisation,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to be bound by these T&Cs.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1. Location Requirement: To be eligible for registration, your Organisation must be based in Junee, Australia, and maintain a valid address within the Junee Shire.
2.2. Marketing Consent: You must agree to receive marketing material from the Athenium Theatre and/or Junee Shire Council.
2.3. Non-Guaranteed Approval: Registration does not guarantee acceptance. Each submission undergoes review by the Economic & Community Development team within Junee Shire Council.
2.4. Refusal of Registration: We reserve the right to decline any registration without providing specific reasons.
2.5. Re-Registration: Organisations must re-register if they wish to continue after their promo code’s one-calendar-year validity expires. Each subsequent registration is subject to a new review.

3. Review & Approval

3.1. Review Process: The Economic & Community Development team within Junee Shire Council will review each Organisation’s submission.
3.2. Notification: You will receive an email regarding approval or disapproval of your submission.
3.3. Promo Code: If approved, you will be issued a unique promo code to be used for ticket purchases for one calendar year.
3.4. Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke or suspend an Organisation’s promo code at any time if there is evidence of misuse, fraud, or violation of these T&Cs.

4. Data Privacy & Protection

4.1. Collection & Use: Any personal data (including contact details, banking information, and other relevant information) collected through registration or ticket purchases will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
4.2. Storage & Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
4.3. Data Sharing: We will not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or as necessary to facilitate payment processing.
4.4. Banking Information: Payment details will be collected only after your Organisation’s promo code is approved to protect the security and privacy of submitters.

5. Promo Code Usage & Validity

5.1. Validity Period: The unique promo code issued to an approved Organisation is valid for one calendar year from the date of approval.
5.2. Use: Ticket buyers on TryBooking or similar platforms will be prompted to enter the promo code at checkout, thereby allocating $5 from each ticket purchase to your Organisation.
5.3. Non-Transferable: Promo codes cannot be shared, licensed, or transferred to other Organisations or entities.
5.4. No Cash Redemption: Promo codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.5. Exclusive Application: The promo code applies only to designated ticketed events hosted by the Athenium Theatre (or affiliated platforms).
5.6. Code Expiry: Once expired, the code cannot be used unless the Organisation successfully re-registers for a new code.

6. Multiple or Combined Promotions

6.1. Single Code Use: Unless explicitly permitted by us, the $5 contribution associated with your Organisation’s promo code cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions.
6.2. Usage Limitations: We reserve the right to limit the number of times a code can be used if we detect potential misuse or technical errors.

8.3. Payment: Payments corresponding to the $5 contributions will be made to the Organisation’s nominated bank account.
8.4. Banking Details: Banking details are not collected during initial registration. A member of the Economic & Community Development team will contact you separately to obtain these details and arrange payment.
8.5. Accuracy: It is the Organisation’s responsibility to provide accurate banking information. We are not liable for delays or losses arising from incorrect or outdated information.

9. Refunds & Event Cancellations

9.1. Refund Policy: If a ticket purchase is refunded, cancelled, or voided for any reason, the associated $5 contribution to your Organisation will also be nullified.
9.2. Event Cancellations: In the event of cancellation or postponement of an Athenium Theatre event, any refunds or ticket transfers will be processed according to the event’s standard policies.
9.3. No Guaranteed Income: We do not guarantee any minimum ticket sales, and the Organisation’s potential income from this Initiative may be impacted by cancellations or low attendance.

  • Errors or malfunctions in ticketing platforms, promo code applications, or payment processes;

  • Delays or failures in payment due to inaccurate banking information;

  • Fraud, misuse, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
12.4. Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these T&Cs excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
